Celebrity Problems

My roommate loves to watch the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, thats all well and good but she also follows their lives when the show isn’t on… and she watches all of the spin offs. She talks about them like they are her friends, and I often wonder if this is healthy behavior.

I know a lot of people do this too, my roommate isn’t alone. As a nation we idolize people who seem glamorous, and they aren’t always great role models. I’m guilty of it too with different celebrities, ask me anything about Green Day I dare you, I’ll spit out answers I’m not proud that I know, but I don’t know the people who live on my street. What’s up with that? The people on my street are the ones who will help me and support me if I need them.

Life’s too short to spend time and energy on people who don’t know or care that you exist. We all need to focus on the people that matter.

On Being

I love this video, but theres a response video I love more.

Sometimes you just need someone to listen to you and say “yeah that does suck I’m sorry” and for them not to say “heres how you fix that problem”.
